The identified Suite Representative is the person authorized to place orders, invoice, talk with the Suite Attendants, share necessary information with guests, and tell us about any special arrangements for your suite. We will inform the Suite Representative about special events and menus. Any questions for us should come through the Suite Representative.
How to Order
In order to meet all of your food and beverage requirements, your order should be placed in advance. Orders placed in advance allow for a greater selection for you and your guests.
Advance Order Deadlines:
Advance orders must be placed by 3:00 pm as follows:
Wednesdays for Monday events
Thursdays for Tuesday events
Fridays for Wednesday events
Mondays for Thursday events
Tuesdays for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday events
Please place your advance order online through our web-based ordering system (http://suites.umd.edu). Log in to place orders and access previous and future game orders. Any questions or problems with the system can be directed to the Terptations at XFINITY Center by phone (240-462-9181) or email (email@example.com).
Delivery and Service
Food will be delivered throughout the game at the times you specify when you place your order. If you do not specify a time, your food will be delivered approximately 60 minutes before game time. Suite attendants will be stationed outside of your suite throughout the game to ensure that everything is delivered and that any additional needs are met.
Game Day Orders
A Suite Attendant will be standing by to receive game day orders. Game day orders are supplements to advance orders and the menu is limited to those items easily prepared and served during the event. Allow 45 minutes for delivery. Food or beverages ordered during the event require either credit card payment at the time of order or a pre-authorized card on file.
Suite Holders will be asked to have a credit card number or University KFS number on file with the Terptations at Tyser Tower Office. Invoices must be paid prior to the event. KFS invoices will be billed after the event. Game day orders are payable at the time the order is placed.

Service Charge and Sales Tax
Food and non-alcoholic beverages are subject to 6% sales tax. Alcoholic beverages are subject to 9% sales tax. A 15% service charge will be added.
In the event you need to cancel an order, please do so at least two business days before the event. Due to costs incurred, orders cancelled less than two business days before the event will be charged at 50% of the invoice price.
Food and Beverage Service
University of Maryland policy requires that Suite Holders and guests use Terptations at Tyser Tower for food and beverage service in the suite. Food and beverages purchased elsewhere in Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium are not permitted in Tyser Tower, and food or beverages served in Tyser Tower may not be removed from Tyser Tower. Any food and/or beverages brought into Tyser Tower are subject to confiscation.
The University of Maryland Athletics Council has developed the following policies for the safe service of alcoholic beverages in Tyser Tower:
Alcoholic beverages may be obtained through Terptations at Tyser Tower and cannot be otherwise brought into or removed from Tyser Tower. Any alcoholic beverages brought into Tyser Tower are subject to confiscation.
Alcohol can be ordered only if food is also ordered for the suite. No suite will be sold alcohol without a food purchase for that game.
All alcohol will be kept in a locked cabinet or refrigerator until the Suite Representative contacts the Suite Attendant who will unlock it. Orders for alcohol can be placed until the end of the third quarter. Alcohol may not be removed from the suites at the conclusion of the game.
Alcohol must be poured into cups provided in the suite and may not at any time be consumed from cans or bottles.
The minimum drinking age in the state of Maryland is 21 years of age. Each Suite Holder is responsible for monitoring and controlling the service and consumption of alcohol within his/her Suite. The University’s alcohol beverage control officers and the suite attendants are authorized to enter the suite to check identification and monitor alcohol consumption.
The University of Maryland assumes no responsibility for the service, possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages in the suite. Underage drinking and the possession or use of alcohol in any manner contrary to law is prohibited. These rules and regulations apply to Suite Holders and occupants of the suite regardless of whether the Suite Holder is present in the suite.
You and your guests will have access to your suite 1.5 hours prior to game time for men’s games and 1 hour prior to game time for women’s games. You may remain in your suite 30 minutes after the end of the game.
Game Day Atmosphere
All Suite Holders and guests are requested to respect the rights of other Suite Holders and ensure that all activities conducted in the suite area are done in a thoughtful and courteous manner.
Suite Holders agree to maintain the suite in good condition and to reimburse the University of Maryland Athletics Department for any damage done to the suite other than ordinary wear and tear.
Game Day Suite Contact
For corporate suites or suites held by more than one individual, the Suite Representative should designate a game-day host who will accept responsibility for the activities within the suite for that particular game. This host should make him or herself known to the Suite Attendant.
Re-entry into XFINITY Suites
Guests can come and go as they please.
Any time you leave your suite, please be sure to remove all personal property. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for any misplaced property, equipment, or other articles left unattended. Unsecured items found in the suite will be forwarded to Fan Assistance Lost and Found.
Clear Bag Policy
Effective Fall 2016, fans are able to carry the following style and size bags into Xfinity Center: bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”, one-gallon clear plastic freezer bags (Ziploc bag or similar), and small clutch bags, measuring 4.5” x 6.5” with or without a handle or strap. Other bags will not be permitted.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in XFINITY Center, including all outside balconies.
Each Suite Holder and all of his/her party are responsible for complying with the terms of the lease and policies.

How do I enter the arena?
Suite holders are permitted to enter any of the six public gates available.
How do I get to my Suite?
All suites are located on the second level of the XFINITY Center. Suites #1-10 are located on the north side and suites #11-20 are located on the south side.
What time do the suites open and close?
The suites will be unlocked when the XFINITY doors open which is 1.5 hours prior to tip-off for men’s games and 1 hour before tip-off for women’s games. Suites will remain open until 30 minutes after the end of the game.
What other areas of XFINITY can I access with my suite ticket?
All areas a normal ticket would have access to (i.e. concessions stands, Terrapin Team Store, concourse).
Can I personalize my Suite?

Are children allowed in the Suites?
Yes, children are a part of the Maryland Athletics experience and are welcome in the suite and common areas. Please note that children must be supervised at all times. Everyone regardless of age will need a ticket for admission. Children two (2) years of age and under will be provided with a lap ticket, upon request, at the admission gate. They must be seated in the lap of a parent or guardian and not interfere with the sight line of other patrons.
Can I place a special order that is not on the menu for a special occasion?

When will my suite be cleaned?
Housekeeping will remove garbage periodically during the game. Following every game, the suite is fully cleaned by housekeeping staff. Please report any damage to the University of Maryland Athletics Facilities, Operations & Events Office at 301-314-7126.
Can I distribute my company’s advertisements and brochures within XFINITY Center?
Distribution of advertisements, solicitations and canvassing within your suite, among the suite owner’s invited guests is permissible. Distribution of these items in the public areas of XFINITY Center and the arena is prohibited.
